This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to a former US president, was granted a special exemption to play at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, an avid golfer, owns numerous golf courses and often plays against Kai.
"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we have tight competitions," she revealed.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Just stay calm."
"He practically advised me to go out there and relax," she explained.
"From my perspective, he's just a normal grandpa. He won't be there this weekend. He's focused on world affairs, making him somewhat preoccupied."
As an amateur, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments recently and holds position 461 in AJGA standings.
Yet she can receive tips from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Vanessa.
"He stands as the best player globally," the young golfer said.
"Furthermore, he's a more impressive individual. He suggested me to compete, relax, adapting to whatever happens."
She'll challenge some of top competitors in women's golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked the champion, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
Officials stated that her participation exposes golf to wider groups, particularly reaching the next generation.
The young star maintains a massive following and just introduced her own clothing and lifestyle company.
The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
